As a small non-profit organization, you’re not always sure where your next idea, collaboration, or area of support may come from. Anjuli and I went to high school together, and she has been a champion of the organization over the past few years. She has shared insight on how to maximize resources available to non-profits, connected us with volunteers through her company, F5, to develop an amazing social media campaign, and—most recently—served as a mentor through our Professional Mentorship Initiative.
This year, we’ve made a conscious effort to create opportunities for our clients and stakeholder partners to be in community together. We’ve done this by developing volunteer days with community partners such as the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, Friends of the Gardens at Lake Merritt, and the Presidio Tunnel Tops, and by creating a Community Day where we rented a space to host clients, colleagues, and friends for a day of connection.
When Anjuli heard about these events, she encouraged us to apply for a grant through her company. We are grateful to share that we were recently awarded a Community Impact grant to help fund these events in 2026 and beyond.
Thank you, Anjuli, for being present and available to share your insight, experience, and expertise as a champion for non-profits—and for dedicating your time as a mentor to make a meaningful impact on our clients. Our organization is better and growing because of you!
