About Us
A Curiae (short for Amicus Curiae, Latin for “friend of the court”) works to bring the principles of public health into the courts to support justice-involved individuals as they transition back into the community. We collaborate with local organizations to provide Resource Referrals, Financial Assistance, and Professional Mentorship to clients under federal supervision across the country.
We believe that by working together, we can create a criminal justice system that is fair and just for all.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide support for the court and clients on supervision through community partnership, professional skill-building, and problem-solving.
Our Vision
Our vision is to remove barriers by helping the court and clients achieve goals that will lead to foundational habits of success.
We use a team approach to work with each individual, finding the appropriate community-based resources and services that meet their unique needs, in support of each unique court program plan.
Our team of experts can bring the A Curiae model to you, working with your organization and staff to understand and implement the latest in treatment court standards.
