Haley Cowles

Haley is a second-year Master of Public Health student at the University of California, Berkeley, with a concentration in Health and Social Behavior. She holds a B.A. in Human Biology and Society with a minor in Global Health from UCLA. Haley brings a strong background in both medical and social sciences research and is deeply passionate about advancing health equity through systems-level change. Her academic interests center on the social and structural determinants of health, including the intersection with the criminal justice system. As a lifelong artist, Haley is also curious about the role of creative expression as a tool for public health intervention and community healing.
